Editorial Rules

Scope of the Journal:
Pediatrics&Nursology covers all aspects of pediatric health and nursing, including but not limited to:
- Newborn
- Preschool
- School age
- Adolescence
- Pediatric health and disease nursing
- Other nursing fields
- Non-nursing pediatric research

Research articles are prioritized, constituting 80% of our publications.

Submission Requirements:
All documents must be uploaded in full. The necessary files include:

Manuscript:

-Abstract
- Include keywords
-Highlights
- All figures (with relevant captions)
- All tables (with titles, descriptions, footnotes)
- Ensure all figure and table citations in the text match the files provided
- Clearly indicate if color should be used for any figures in print

Additional Files (where applicable):
- Graphical Abstracts / Highlights
- Supplemental files

Further Considerations:
- Manuscript has been 'spell checked' and 'grammar checked'
- All references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa
- Permission has been obtained for the use of copyrighted material from other sources
- A competing interests statement is provided
- Journal policies detailed in this guide have been reviewed
- Referee suggestions and contact details are provided

Ethical Guidelines:
Read the ethical guidelines of our journal before starting. Indicate any conflict of interest in your article. Writing with artificial intelligence is allowed up to 25%. A similarity report is allowed up to 30% and will be reviewed by the journal.

Language and Style:
- Use clear and understandable English. If you have language difficulties, use our proofreading service.
- Avoid sexist, racist, or offensive terms.
- Define abbreviations upon first use and use them consistently thereafter.

Fees:
This journal does not charge authors for article submission or publication. Authors cannot request a fee.

Peer Review Process:
This journal uses a double-blind peer review process. Articles are first evaluated by the editor for suitability, then sent to at least two independent expert reviewers. The editor makes the final decision on acceptance or rejection.

Manuscript Preparation:
-You can find an article template here. Please prepare your article according to this template.

WORD Manuscript File

-Customize the figures and tables to your liking.
-Please upload your tables and figures both as part of the document and as separate files.
- Keep the layout simple. Most formatting codes will be removed and replaced during processing.
- Use boldface, italics, subscripts, superscripts, etc., where appropriate.
- Use a single grid for tables, not one for each row. If no grid is used, align columns with tabs, not spaces.
- Electronic text should be prepared similarly to traditional articles.

Keywords:
- Provide up to 6 keywords immediately after the abstract.
- Use American spelling and avoid general, plural terms, and multiple concepts.
- Include the keywords in the manuscript source file as well.

Highlights:
- Mandatory for this journal.
- Submit 3 to 5 bullet points (maximum 140 characters, including spaces, per bullet point) in a separate file.

Abstract:
- A concise and factual abstract with fewer than 250 words is required.
- Follow APA 7th edition guidelines.

Acknowledgments:
- Collate acknowledgments in a separate section on the title page.
- List individuals who provided help during the research.

Formatting of Funding Sources:
- List funding sources to facilitate compliance with funders' requirements.
- If no funding was provided, include: "This research did not receive any specific grant from funding agencies in the public, commercial, or not-for-profit sectors."

Figure Captions:
- Each illustration must have a caption supplied separately, not attached to the figure.
- Include a brief title and description.

Tables:
- Submit tables as editable text, not as images.
- Please upload your tables and figures both as part of the document and as separate files.
- Number tables consecutively and place any table notes below the table body.
- Avoid using vertical rules and shading in table cells.

References:
- Ensure every reference cited in the text is present in the reference list and vice versa.
- Use the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th edition referencing style.
