Price Policy
No charges to authors
Pediatrics & Nursology charges authors nothing, at any stage. Specifically, there is no:
- submission fee
- article processing charge (APC)
- page, figure, colour or supplementary material charge
- editorial handling or peer review fee
- fee for withdrawal of a manuscript
- fee for correction, retraction or any other post-publication notice
No payment is accepted in exchange for publication, for a faster decision, or for any form of priority handling. Ability to pay has no bearing on editorial decisions, and no author is asked about funding at any point in the review process.
No charges to readers
The journal is fully open access. All articles are freely available immediately on publication. No subscription, registration, membership or payment of any kind is required to read, download, print or share the content.
How the journal is funded
Pediatrics & Nursology operates on a not-for-profit basis. Its operating costs are met without recourse to author fees or reader subscriptions, and the journal derives no revenue from authors or readers. Editors and peer reviewers serve voluntarily and are not remunerated.
The journal's funding arrangements have no influence on editorial decisions or on the content it publishes.
A note on fraudulent requests
Because the journal charges no fees, any message requesting payment for the submission, review or publication of an article in Pediatrics & Nursology is fraudulent, however closely it resembles official correspondence. All legitimate communication comes from addresses at pediatricsnursology.com and through the journal's submission system. Please report any such request to the editorial office.
