Updated journal website, policies and author forms

30-08-2026

Pediatrics & Nursology has completed a comprehensive revision of its website, editorial policies and author materials. The changes are effective immediately.

Website

The journal interface has been rebuilt to improve readability and navigation. Article pages now present author affiliations and ORCID identifiers inline, provide direct access to the PDF, citation and sharing tools, and display the licence and publication details more clearly. Issue and article listings, the reading layout of policy pages, and the mobile interface have all been redesigned.

Editorial and publication policies

The following documents have been rewritten and expanded: About the Journal, Aims and Scope, Author Guidelines, Reviewer Guidelines, Ethical Principles and Publication Policy, Plagiarism Policy, Open Access Policy, Archiving Policy, Publication Fees, Privacy Statement, and Licence.

The scope of the journal is now defined in three tiers. Pediatric and neonatal nursing remains the primary focus. All branches of nursing science fall within the secondary scope. Child-focused research from allied disciplines is considered on a limited basis where it holds clear relevance for nursing practice.

Author forms and templates

The Manuscript Template File, Ethical Consideration Form and Copyright Form have been revised. The Copyright Form now reflects the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence under which all articles in the journal are published.

Authors with a submission in preparation should download the current versions from the Templates and Forms page. Forms downloaded before this date should not be used, as submissions accompanied by superseded forms will be returned for correction.

The journal remains fully open access. No submission, processing or publication charges apply at any stage.
